The love of singing and performing started at an early age for me. Growing up in a rural community, my brother, sister and I entertained ourselves by singing and performing songs on special occasions. As I grew up, the love of music became an intrinsic part of me, as I had opportunities to be in various high school musicals, 4-H Share the Fun and choirs. This led me to college where I had the opportunity to perform and majored in Theatre. Over the next 40 years, I had a career in IT and enjoyed performances as an audience member. A few years ago, I joined Mt. Olivet Senior Choir and started my second phase of performing. Upon my retirement, I auditioned with Alive & Kickin and was fortunate to be selected. I love the interaction with the other performers and aim to continue for years to come.
FUN FACT: In 1975 I was selected to be the 22nd Princess Kay of the Milky Way representing Minnesota Dairy Farmers.
