Music became my love over 50 years ago when my parents brought a piano into our home. Since then, I have played the trumpet, continued the piano, and even dabbled with the harmonica, as well as singing when and where I could. As life got busier, my music got lost in the shuffle until my wife and I attended an Alive & Kickin concert, and my passion for music kicked back in. I told her that when I hit that magical age of 60 I am going to try out and see what happens, and lo and behold here I am. As my wife said at the time, “I think it’s time you get out and sing to more than just the cat.” The people are warm, and friendly, and getting to know them has been a wonderful experience. It is like a family and the support is amazing!!

FUN FACT: I met Charlie Pride in the parking lot of a Minnesota Twins game at the old Metropolitan Stadium and told him what a big fan I was. He immediately took out his guitar and we sang “Kiss an Angel Good Morning” together.
