Karen Koski
I’ve been singing all my life, first with my two sisters, and later in high school. I spent seven years with “Showtime,” and four years performing with “New Fogey Follies”. I have also performed with Brooklyn Park Choral, Upstagers, Symhopknolls/On Stage, and the JCC Singers. The most fun was playing Yenta in “Fiddler on the Roof” and Bloody Mary in “South Pacific.” My husband Jack and I have four sons and two grandchildren. Singing and performing remain my passions. Didn’t know I would still be performing at my age (soon to be 85!) and with my disabilities. A&K gives me a purpose in life, one that is enjoyable to me and hopefully to the audiences.
FUN FACT: For more than 10 years, I made all my greeting cards, including Christmas. I used fabric applied to cardstock and leftover envelopes from card stores.
