Judy Weigman
I have been singing since I was a little girl, but nothing compares to my becoming a part of this Alive & Kickin family. I am loving every minute of it! It feels good to have the support of my husband, Roland, as well as our family and friends. I sang and danced with the Bloomington-based women’s show choir, NOTE-able Singers, for seven years and with Generation Gap and Singsation prior to that. My other passion, for over 36 years, continues to be my time at Corner House, a Child Abuse Evaluation and Training Center in South Minneapolis where I continue to conduct forensic interviews of children, teens, and vulnerable adults. Singing with Alive & Kickin helps keep me centered.
FUN FACT: When I was a young mother married to a minister, I auditioned to become an Eastern Onion Singing telegram and soon found myself part of an elite group of entertainers. I enjoyed the French Maid role the most!
