After a spotty avocational career in choir, theater, and even operettas (including a small solo part in Amahl and the Night Visitors) along with a lot of driving-while-singing (luckily never got ticketed for that!) – I finally came to my senses and auditioned for a serious rock and roll ensemble, Alive & Kickin. And I’m loving it! Previously, I had a 47-year career in environmental engineering and science, working on river, groundwater, and lake water quality as a consultant and in government service. I earned a PhD from the University of Minnesota while working, and before that a bachelor’s degree from Harvard.
FUN FACT: I shook hands with US Senators Edward Brooke, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Paul Wellstone and Al Franken.
