I am so excited to have the opportunity to sing with Alive & Kickin. When my two girls were little, we had a picture of my husband’s aunt on our refrigerator in her dance costume. She was in her 70’s and had just taken up tap dancing. We thought she was so inspiring. It’s my hope that my grandchildren can feel that way when they think of Grandma singing with this group.
I started singing in church as a child and continued at church as well as at weddings and funerals. In the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s I was lead singer with a variety of bands. Now it’s fun to do some of that same music again. Plus I love to sing karaoke any chance I get!
FUN FACT: I worked as a travel agent for a few years so I was able to travel to Hawaii, Belize, England plus a few European countries.
