I love music. I took piano lessons as a kid. Once I learned how to improvise from a melody line and chord symbols, I started playing Broadway and pop music for fun. To this day I enjoy leading singalongs with the piano.
Another musical genre I love is the operetta. I have performed frequently with the Gilbert and Sullivan Very Light Opera Company since moving to Minnesota in 1999.
In real life I am happily married, with two children, two stepchildren, and ten grandchildren. My career was in petroleum geology. I like to bicycle, cross-country ski and travel.
I am enjoying expanding my musical horizons in Alive & Kickin, proving I am not too old to learn something new!
FUN FACT: I bicycled coast-to-coast, in England instead of the US.
