Jan Preble

Jan is the Vice President of Programs for The Wasie Foundation. She has worked in the health & nonprofit sector for more than 40 years, primarily in program administration and management. She has worked for a number of health-related public charities in addition to working in private philanthropy. She is a past president of the Association of Health Care Educators of the Midwest and a member of Exponent Philanthropy and The Philanthropy Roundtable. She has been involved with Alive & Kickin since the first year of operation and has a genuine appreciation of seniors and a passion for all arts, but particularly music. She believes the arts greatly impact health and quality of life and is honored to be associated with A & K!
WHY I’M INVESTED: Music creates joy and connects all generations. I’ve seen the very positive impact A & K has had on people of ALL ages since the organization began. ALL people are aging and ALL people have a story to tell; it’s important to LISTEN. Listening to (& watching) A & K is pure joy!
