I have always liked to sing, starting with my temple choir, high school and ensemble, a group of friends who performed at a local dance, college choir, and glee club, and more recently local musical comedies. Sometimes I even had solos.

Yes, like many of us in Alive & Kickin, I always dreamed I would become a big rock star. However, the more practical and sometimes altruistic side of me usually prevailed. I worked over twenty years in human services at the state of Minnesota, and previously had been a school psychologist, teacher, and market researcher.

I live with my life partner, Adina, who encourages my singing, I have a daughter, Sarah, and grandchild, Micah. Now that I am retired, I hope to find additional opportunities to utilize singing and to help others through Alive & Kickin and also at nursing homes.
