My love of music came from my mom who harmonized with me in her beautiful alto as we did dishes. When I was five she took me to the Terminal Tower in Cleveland to sing on a local radio show. Later I played the organ in church, sang in choirs, and led school singalongs with my guitar. For years I have written and performed humorous parodies for dozens of birthdays, weddings, and retirements and You’ve Got Your Friend about that time of the month for karaoke. Since retiring from a career in elementary education that spanned fifty years including five in Hong Kong, I looked for another outlet for my creative, musical energy and have found it in this group. My mom would have loved A & K and so do I.
